November 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Sorong Regency will be 2.04 percent.

In November 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sorong Regency will be 2.04 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.94.

Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by rising prices expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and tobacco groups by 5.91 percent; housing, water, electricity and home fuel groups stairs by 0.36 percent; health group at 0.77 percent; group education by 0.69 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.41 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.48 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: clothing and footwear group by 0.65 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group amounting to 7.21 percent; transportation group by 1.46 percent; and information, communication and financial services group at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the sports and cultural recreation did not experience any changes.
