Sorong Regency Inflation and Consumer Price Index April 2024

The April 2024 Inflation Rate of Composite Consumer Price (CPI) Index in Sorong Regency

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Sorong Regency will be 4.12 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.30.

 

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 9.84 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.35 percent; health group at 3.69 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.59 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.91 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: clothing and footwear group by 0.65 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.51 percent; transportation group by 0.01 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, recreation, sports and culture groups; and education groups did not experience changes.

 

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Sorong Regency in April 2024 is 0.79 percent. Meanwhile, the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Sorong Regency in April 2024 is 1.55 percent.
