Abstract

Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by
the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and
tobacco by 5.03 percent; housing, water, electricity and fuel groups
households by 0.37 percent; health group at 3.69 percent;
transportation group by 1.06 percent; food supply groups and
drinks/restaurants by 0.59 percent; and the personal care and services group
others amounted to 0.77 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group experienced
decline in index, namely: clothing and footwear group by 0.63 percent;
group of supplies, equipment and routine household maintenance amounting to
2.14 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group amounting to
0.03 percent. Meanwhile, recreation, sports and cultural groups and groups
education has not changed.
